Welcome to Montechiari!
On the old road called "Via VInaria" (the wine roar),
within the town district of Montecarlo, our winery has been producing
since 1978.
Very little time considering the fact that in this area wine has been
produced for many centuries.
A note was found dated from the 13teen century: ....e peche ttu sia bene
servito di un perfetto e buono vino ho scritto ad Arrigo Dipintore per
aver quello squisito Montechiari di Montecarlo ch'è in quello di
Luccha...
... if you need to be well treated you need to drink a good class of wine
of the Montechiari Estate in the Montecarlo Town near Lucca.
In the vineyard as well as in the cellar we work with no compromises under
the wine consultancy of Stefano Chioccioli so we can produce very high
quality wines.
